Saturday we went cherry picking. Aren't they pretty?
We spent that afternoon swimming at a lake and playing in the sand. I didn't take pictures because sand+cameras=drag. Sunday we went to church with them and just relaxed around the house.
Monday morning Nephi and Aaron took the kids on a hike to a really big tree. I stayed home with Isaac who wasn't feeling too well. They found lots of fascinating bugs and creatures along the way.
Monday was also Rachel's eighth birthday, and the kids celebrated with a pool party on the deck. They swam for a really long time.
That night she had some cake and we got to sing happy birthday.
And Tuesday it was back in the van for us. Isaac was not in a very cooperative mood. The poor guy is still not feeling well :(
Note the solar panels on their house. Aaron has spent a lot of time the last few years making their house energy independent. They are almost completely off the grid, and he did almost all the work and research himself. Pretty impressive. Thanks Aaron and Bethany for making us feel so welcome and showing us a good time in Georgia!!
