Well, at nine and a half months we finally found something Caleb ate with gusto - dal. Not the most conventional first favorite food, but we'll take whatever he'll give us. Bananas, applesauce, mangos, avocado, rice cereal, all boring. But dal - delicious! It was very cute - his eyes lit up, he was kicking his legs, leaning forward, and making little hungry sounds.
Also, he gets ever closer to walking. Now he can stand on his own, tottering but not falling down until he tries to take a step and launches himself into your arms. He is delighted by the whole thing and gets all excited when he's standing on his own.
