Grandma's Visit

At the beginning of summer my mom came to visit for a few days and we had a lot of fun with her.

We went to Costco one day, and due to the secret chemicals that Costco pipes into their stores that makes you want to buy everything you didn't even know you wanted, walked out with a nice ten person tent. The boys were so excited to set it up and slept in it that night.

We also spent a very fun day at Glenwood Caverns, a local amusement park up on a mountainside. You ride a gondola up to it!

It turns out Ben is quite a little daredevil. He loved the kiddie roller coaster, and even loved the not-so-kiddie Alpine Slide.

The Giddy Up was a big hit with everyone.

And there is a beautiful view of the Roaring Fork Valley.

It was very exciting that there was a ferris wheel that went around and around and around, just like in Go, Dog. Go!
