Caleb's Third Grade Year

Caleb finished third grade this year. He's a superstar at school and everyone's biggest challenge is trying to keep him challenged. Towards the end of the year he started going to the middle school for math class, and that improved things a lot for him. He has a good time, though, and his teacher assured me that he is kind and respectful, so we're happy for that.

His favorite out of school activity is soccer; he played both in the fall and the spring. Caleb moved up a level and had really great coaches both seasons so there were many opportunities for learning and improving.

His spring team had very fancy uniforms with their names on them.

He turned 9 in December and had a little party with a few of his friends.

He is in our church cub scout troop and earned his Wolf badge in the fall. In the winter the troop made a cardboard boxcar to try out at our ward sledding party. It was moderately successful at going down a hill, but they had a good time constructing it.

His class at school performed a Veteran's Day tribute in the fall.
He is a handsome kid.

And has such a great smile.
