Thanks to so many people for making my birthday special yesterday. Nephi and Joseph surprised me in the morning with two dozen roses and waffles, and there were surprises in the mailbox, on the answering machine, people ringing the doorbell. Joseph also helped Nephi make a birthday cake. It was lovely. As someone who has forgotten both her father's and her husband's birthdays, I'm always pleasantly surprised when someone remembers mine.
