Days like this make me almost repent of all the sassy things I say about So Cal. Here we are in the middle of January, and my heart feels like springtime. Walking home tonight after bookclub, there was a warm breeze and it reminded me of how it felt for summer vacation to be almost here. It is in the low eighties in the daytime, blue skies - feel good weather. And yesterday being at La Jolla Cove while Nephi was snorkeling, watching the cormorants and breaking waves and pelicans, well, it was as if we were enjoying world-class coastline on a perfect day.
