We enjoyed a visit from Laura and Michael yesterday, who drove down from Malibu to meet the new Caleb and spend some time with Joseph. They made fast friends with Joseph who put on quite a show for them last night, complete with a "smooth jazz" dance fest before bed. We enjoyed lots of good food, too - another batch of cinnamon rolls, which we have resolved to make only very seldom and when there are plenty of mouths to share them with, the ham Mom got for us, and today baba ganoush and millet salad with pitas. Yum. We of course missed Mom and Dad, who are staying away to keep us flu-free. Poor Mom is still miserable in bed. And at the one-week appointment, Caleb is weighing in at a hefty 8 pounds 4 ounces, almost back up to his birth weight.
