New Years with the Hayes and Ellen

We were so happy to have Nephi's sisters Ellen and Martha, along with Martha's considerable family, come stay with us for a few days to celebrate New Years. It snowed just in time to enjoy a bit of sledding:

And one day everyone went swimming:

Other than that, we just enjoyed hanging out together around the house with cousins.

New Years night was very fun; Joseph got out his strobe light he had gotten for Christmas and the kids had a dance party. Seven little kids dancing in strobe lights is one of the cutest things you'll ever see. I fell asleep a little after 10, but Joseph, Caleb, and Nephi made it to midnight to bang some pots.
