Our family finished reading the Book of Mormon together a week or so after Benjamin arrived. It took us almost five years, but we read it verse by verse, day by day, out loud together as a family for a few minutes each night before bed. I'm very glad we did it. It is an amazing book, and the experience of focusing spiritually together as a family each day brings many blessings. We celebrated with an ice cream sundae party and strobe light dancing. And the next night we started over.

hooray. Lest your boys get too excited, I've started acting out the tough parts with legos. The war chapters are pretty cool now. But you could do the boat building, jacob 5, samuel the lamanite, etc.
