Joseph the graduate

Joseph is now an official preschool graduate! His school had a little graduation ceremony on Friday. It really is funny to watch a bunch of five-year-olds performing on stage.
Here are Joseph's teachers. One morning a few months ago before preschool he was suddenly overcome by the desire to give them a little gift. I said what a nice idea that was but we didn't have anything right that moment. A few minutes later he came running into my room with baggies of baby carrots to bring to them to show them "how much he appreciates them." They were surprised and thought they'd be perfect with lunch.
The fam celebrating the big day:
Friday afternoon the elementary school Joseph will go to for kindergarten had their annual carnival. When I mentioned the kindergarten teachers would be there he snuck off and picked a flowering branch from a tree as a gift for them. He really is a thoughtful little guy. The carnival was a hit; there were bouncy houses and red sno-cones that dripped everywhere, the kindergarten teachers were touched, and Joseph is very excited for the fall.

What a very thoughtful boy. I can't believe he is going to kindergarten this fall. Wow how time has flown and he is turning into such a handsome boy.
